When the gemstone is transparent, Ruby is one of the most expensive precious gemstones on the market. When it is opaque, the price comes into the realm of affordability. The beautiful color tone of these faceted rondelles is the rich reddish color that makes such a statement! In our current stock, diameters range from 3.4 to 4.1mm and are very uniform shaped and faceted. Strand length is about 14-14.5 inches.

These Jewel tone pearls are always popular around the holidays! Great big pearls in bright tones: Turquoise, Emerald, Dark Lavender, Burgandy, Gold, Silver & Bronze and more. The shapes of these potato pearls are very well rounded, occasional light banding or dimples, most pearls are 8mm diameter, but it is possible to see a range from7.5mm to 8.5mm.

Large white Potato Pearls with very distinctive banding. Good luster, slightly opalescent, most pearls average 8mm , but can range from 7.5mm to 10mm. Pearls tend to be about 7.5mm on the drilled dimension.

These are very "well rounded" potato pearls! Luster is good and pearls range 8.5-10mm on the un-drilled dimension. Drilled dimension (width) of the pearls is about 8-8.5mm. You will find a few pearls with a faint small tan spot or an area where the luster is not as uniform as the rest of the pearl (both conditions are shown in the picture). Some pearls also have very slight banding or dimples.

Creamy white color, very good luster and very uniform egg shapes make these teardrop pearls an excellent choice. They are on the larger size too, at 7-8mm in length and between 6-6.5mm at the widest point. This group of pearls also have very smooth surfaces throughout.

If you are looking for some really large nugget pearls, these may be for you! Sizes range 9-10mm and pearls are about 7.5-8mm wide on the drilled dimension. The pearls have uniform color, nice opalescence and very good luster. These are fairly well rounded - some may not have the one flattened side that is typical of nugget pearls.

Excellent workmanship stands out on these solid copper rectangular barre; shaped beads. Bead has a copper base shape with lots of scrolled surface decoration made from sterling silver. The openings of the hole also each have a surrounding ring of silver. The handmade bead measures about 12mm on the drilled dimension and 9.5 at the widest part, 1.3mm hole. Handmade in Turkey. Every once in a while, we get a chance to pick up some donuts in this wonderful gemstone. They tend to be on the expensive side - but the pink color and the intricate banding makes it worth it! The donuts will have some of the pale grey or tan banding or small black sections typical of this gemstone.
