These Faceted Amethyst 6mm Rounds have really wonderful, deep color. They are nicely shaped, faceted and drilled. They have just a little cloudiness - but the color is so rich that it is not very apparent. 6mm, 15.5" Strand.

Here are some Amethyst Faceted Rondelles in a nice darker shade of purple. Beads are hand cut and faceted, as shown, but each strand has beads of relatively uniform shape and appearance. Bead diameters range from 4.3 to 4.7mm and some strands are slightly size graduated - so a few beads at one end of the strand may be as large as 5.5mm. Strands are about 14 inches in length.

These are Amethyst faceted rondelles - all are hand cut beads which means there will be irregularity in the cut and the size of the beads as shown by the picture. Current stock is medium purple; bead diameters range 4.8-5.2mm and are relatively the same size on each strand.

Nice dark Amethyst, cut in full faceted teardrop shapes, have surfaces that are completely faceted. Clarity is good to very good. The drops are all similarly sized, so these are not being sorted into weight categories. Sizes range from 9-10mm high, 5.5-6mm wide, top drilled as shown.

Availability:

All the beads in this selection will be tear shaped: taller than they are wide. Medium purple in color, and reasonably transparent - these make a nice purple "statement" in you designs. The drilled hole at the top point of the tear may not be quite level - please account for this possibility (wire wrapping, for example). Sold by carat, sizes are given for reference; size ranges overlap because some drops are thinner/thicker than others. We have recently restocked the largest sizes for very good selection!

These larger Gemstone Tab pendants are made from a light colored form of Amethyst that we describe as "Crystal Amethyst". Each pendant is drilled and fitted with a silver-plated pin and a small silver-plated snap bail is supplied. Each pendant measures about 25x15mm (not counting the pin and bail).

These Amethyst Short Tab pendants are made from medium purple toned gemstone (they are darker in tone than the larger Crystal Amethyst tab pendants). Their short size and lighter weight make them an excellent choice for earring drops or a necklace pendant. Each pendant measures about 18x16mm (not counting the silver plated pin and bail).

Our 4mm Amethyst beads are medium to darker purple (darker than the picture shows). They are darker in tone than the 6mm Amethyst. Beads were fabricated in China for nice round beads and good drilling.

Current stock of this Amethyst style measures 6.1mm in diameter. Beads are medium to light purple, and are slightly cloudy. They are slightly lighter in tone than the 4mm Amethyst Round beads. Beads are nicely formed with good hole drilling.
