Lapis Lazuli just doesn't get much better than this! Deep blue gemstone with sparkling pyrite flecks and just a hint of well mix calcite to keep the blue tones from being too dark were used to form these drops. Each drop is expertly faceted on all surfaces. Drops measure about 20x13mm. Thickness varies from 3.5mm to 8mm. Pendants may appear slightly notched near drilled hole openings.

Each larger Lapis Lazuli Gemstone Tab pendant is drilled and fitted with a silver-plated pin and a small silver-plated snap bail is supplied. Each pendant measures about 25x15mm (not counting the pin and bail).

These Lapis Lazuli Short Tab pendants are all cut in a somewhat tapered shape, as shown. Their short size and lighter weight make them an excellent choice for earring drops to coordinate with the larger tab pendants above. They also make a necklace pendant in their own right. Each pendant measures about 18x16mm (not counting the silver plated pin and bail).

Availability:

This is an unusual combination - we have not seen Lapis Lazuli offered in a briolette cut until we bought these drops. Mostly in the "bright blue" color family due to well mixed calcite inclusions, these drops also have quite a bit of pyrite for extra sparkle. Most of these Lapis briolettes will be pear shaped (height and width measurements are nearly the same)but a small number (mostly in the smaller size groups) are available as teardrop shaped (taller than wide). If you prefer the teardrop shape, tell us in "Comments" when you check out. All drop are drilled side-to-side across the top point. Sold by carat, sizes are given for reference; size ranges overlap because some drops are thinner/thicker than others.

Lapis Lazuli Heart Donuts are cute and small at about 15x15mm. These are flat cut donuts - the edges and hole are polished, but not sloped. Note the pin in the center donut - these are side-drilled to give you multiple methods of attachment. Color varies as shown by the picture: medium blues, some with moderate calcite inclusions. Center hole is about 3.8mm, side drilled hole is about 0.8mm. Sold by the piece.
