India Glass Dot Bead Mixes

Beads with dots - they're a perennial favorite! We carry both the kind that have bright dots of color on the surface of the bead and the style with raised dots.

If you order these bulk mixes at the 10 package price break, you may get your beads in the large bags that come directly from the overseas vendor. These bags may contain a small amount of broken or otherwise unusable beads (we do not open them). The individual 50 and 100 gram bags are packaged by Beaded Impressions - we make an effort to cull the broken or mis-formed beads, but you still may find an occasional unusable bead in the bags.

Dot Glass Bead Mix

These are Dot Beads in a great mix of colors and sizes and shapes. They come in a lot of colors as shown in picture above with a different color of glass dots on each. They measure from 7.5mm to 22mm in ovals, barrels, rounds, tubes, flattened rounds and teardrops. They come 100 grams beads per bag (approximately 60) with a mix of colors as shown.

Bumpy Bead Mix

Availability:

Bumpy Beads are similar to the Dot Beads below, but are usually larger. Sometimes, these beads are also called 'Eye Beads'. The beads start with a base color (the range of colors shown in the picture), then large dots are applied - usually a contrasting color to the base plus white. Most are 12mm to 20mm in mostly rounds, squares and a few rondelles/ovals. They come 100 grams beads per bag (approximately 20-25).

White Matte Beads with Dots

Availability:

This mix of White Matte Beads with Dots is sure to brighten up a design! All of the beads are a white opaque with large bright spots of a single color on each bead. All beads are 11-13mm in diameter and about 10-12mm on the drilled dimension. Hole sizes for this mix are about 1.5-2.5mm, large enough to fit on Greek Leather Cord. The beads are packaged 50 grams per bag (about 20 beads).

Dot Matte Mix

These beads are Dot Matte Mix. All beads have white dots and a wonderful matte finish. They come in the colors shown - with round, oval and tube shapes. The dots are not raised (like the dot beads just below) - but are level with the surface of the bead. Sizes are rather uniform at 7.5 to 12mm. They come 50 grams beads per bag (approximately 42).

Eye Bead Mix

Availability:

Eye Bead Mix is a great collection of brightly colored glass beads, all having "eye" shaped dots decorating the surface. Beads may be opaque or transparent. You find many shapes including rounds, ovals, small and very large tubes, rectangles, barrels and occasional beads with a loop attached instead of a hole. Most bead range from 6-18, but the big tubes go up to about 30x9mm. Hole sizes for this mix are about 1-2mm. The beads are packaged 100 grams per bag.

A Note Regarding Bulk India Glass Mix Beads

India glass often appears 'dusty' - this greyish material is 'kiln release' or 'kiln wash'. It is a material that is used to allow the beads to slip off of the wire that they are formed on in the process of manufacturing. Just rinse your beads in a colander or a piece of cloth to remove the remaining 'dust'.
