India Lampwork Variety Mixes
These India made Lampwork Variety Mixes provide the most variety and color of any of our glass bead mixes. These bead assortment are mostly Lampwork beads with a few other techniques mixed in for variety.

If you order these bulk mixes at the 10 package price break, you may get your beads in the large bags that come directly from the overseas vendor. These bags may contain a small amount of broken or otherwise unusable beads (we do not open them). The individual 50 and 100 gram bags are packaged by Beaded Impressions - we make an effort to cull the broken or mis-formed beads, but you still may find an occasional unusable bead in the bags.

This is Adventurine Mix. It has lots of surface trail, 'wedding cakes', gold treatments and floral decorations. Our recent shipments have been running towards the medium sized beads. Most beads are in the size range from 11x8mm to 28x13. Offered in 100 gram bags that typically contain about 40-45 beads.

African Trade Bead Mix

Availability:
This is African Trade Bead mix. It include fancy beads, adventurine, cane work, matte finishes, surface trailing, etc. Currently we are also getting a few half-drilled beads (use with a post and a bail). This mix varies from shipment to shipment - so we are trying to take new pictures as the shipments change. These are absolutely gorgeous beads, some quite large too. They average from 15mm to 39mm but we have seen beads up to 50mmx20mm. A few of the foilcore and surface trail beads may be as small as 8mm. They are sold 100 grams per bag (usually 25 plus beads).

India Large Mix

These are India Large Mix beads in colors, sizes and shapes, some with cane work and trailing. There are some familiar looking Czech style shapes in this mix too. They measure from 7mm to 25mm in a multitude of shapes including rounds, ovals, tubess, diamonds and lots more. They come 100 grams beads per bag (120 plus). We have been getting some really nice beads in this mix lately, so the picture has been updated to give you an idea.

Surface Trail Mix

This is Surface Trail Mix. This mix starts with roundish beads in both opaque and transparent colors. Each bead is then decorated with an elaborate pattern of 'surface trails' - primarily using a gold-colored metallic flecked glass. The finishing touches are pink and white 'roses' and tiny dots of other colors. This is considered an '8mm' mix - but we have measured beads that are 8-10mm in diameter and 7-8mm on the drilled dimension. You will find approximately 55-60 beads in a 50 gram package.

Lampwork Flower Mix

This is an especially nice Lampwork Flower Mix. All beads are formed from transparent glass in the six colors shown (purple, green, red, orange, aqua and yellow). There are two shapes - a 11-12mm Round and a 20x11mm Oval. All the beads have bold lampwork flowers applied to the surface. Hole sizes run between 1.7mm and 2.2mm. They are offered in 50 gram bags (approximately 18-22 beads).

A Note Regarding Bulk India Glass Mix Beads
India glass often appears 'dusty' - this greyish material is 'kiln release' or 'kiln wash'. It is a material that is used to allow the beads to slip off of the wire that they are formed on in the process of manufacturing. Just rinse your beads in a colander or a piece of cloth to remove the remaining 'dust'.
